I must admit, I prefer the new Google Hangouts to Whatsapp. Only reason I have Whatsapp is for the poor people I know that don't have any droid love.

Why not install both? My droid notifies me when someone tries to contact me on whatsapp. I'm sure it will do the same for BB.
Then I just pull down my notification bar and read the message.
Do you not think you will be able to handle that?

I'll be jumping on BBM and unistalling Whatsapbecause of privacy issues. I cant even have a decent profile pic or status update because work people are on the prowl.

I care little about privacy issues.
At the current stage I’m using Skype, WhatsApp, Viber, Google Hangouts and Facebook Messenger on my smartphone. Viber is going to be deleted soon, nobody active on there anymore. Customers contact me via Hangouts and Skype. I even have the company Help Desk App on here…
In the end BBM will add to the above, although not many people I know still have Blackberries as their daily phone.
