I began getting hectic back pains and also a fair share of depression end of last year and beginning this year. I've always wanted to do taichichuan and I heard it helps with general illnesses like body pains and depression and stuff so I started giving it a go.

Its been a little over a month now and all my health issues disappeard. My back pain is gone(although my legs are stiff every once in a while from stance trainging :D) and I haven't been depressed again since starting.

Maybe give Nanfeishen a pm, he's a taichi instructor in your area who might help you.

Darkwater, your physical symptoms sounds a lot like Irritable Bowel Syndrome or even an ulcer.

Having someone that makes you want to get up in the morning and just the thought of them motivate you do go through the day.

I think that has to come from within. You cannot expect other people to make you happy. Yes people make each other happy but in a complimentary way. What happens if that person is no longer there. Unless you just mean it as in a support type of role.

Regardless, I believe he needs help.

I also head that idea but the test where ulcer free and I believe IBS has a direct connection on what you eat and how you feel afterwards. I can eat/drink anything and still feel the same.

IBS can also be brought on or worsened by stress or psychological factors AFAIK.
