Hey, I am busy just doing some research to see what options there are for clients, does anyone know of Fiber that can be deployed to Tygervalley Chambers ?

I had a look at RSA Web, absolutely ridiculous pricing then I had a look at cybersmart and they look like a good option, but.... It's Cybersmart....

Does anyone know of any alternatives or just general advice regarding this, I appreciate all the input in advance.

If FTTH is what you need then go Telkom or Cybersmart if you need more business grade solutions look at Neotel or Vodacom.

I had a look around and this is all I can find,

First there is Cybersmart... But they are like Openweb in my opinion

------------------------------------------
Lightspeed Business Standard

100Mbps Monthly Pricing - R11 999

------------------------------------------
Fibre To The Business Pricing (FTTB)

100Mbps Monthly Pricing - R7 999pm

------------------------------------------
Fibre To The Home Pricing (FTTH)

100Mbps Monthly Pricing - R2 899pm

-----------------------------------------

Then I found the prices for vodacom:

I there any other company that might be able to deliver fiber to this area ?

Edit: Telkoms website is a headache to navigate so could not find their fiber offerings

Nothing wrong with Cybersmart's fibre offerings.

RSAWeb website says they offer it in the Tygervalley area as well, so maybe also try them?

RSA Web is the company that spams the job section and ignores everyone.

Not the company I will trust our critical systems with

Well, or 100Mb RSAWeb fibre runs at 500Mb - 700Mb within SA... so you pay for 100Mb and get 5X that locally...

Trust and quality reassurance is more important for me. ( with that said I still have a website with afrihost urgh. )

I just hope 123net pulls through

That's understandable.

We have Neotel, Telkom, Vodacom and RSAweb fibre lines into our building. Only one that has never gone down is Neotel, and the Neotel one we had for 3 years now.

We considered them, but with this Vodafone cloud hanging over I want to rather wait and see before I commit to them. Too much variables at this time.
