Benoni ~ It's safe, my mate!

On a serious note, are there hotspot intersection one should avoid for carjacking? I know of certain areas near the airport in CPT that need to be avoided......

A mere three days ago, out junior teams returned to NAmibia from playing in Benoni and raved about it, they even got a trip one afternoon to a Carnival City!

Only thing they moaned about was the two day drive home.....

Paizes is long time the best butcher around.

N12 and Bunyan/Tom Jones intersection is probably the worst in Benoni.

Sometimes they target N12(East) and Atlas (Going north to kempton park side only though.) You can tell if they're active if there is a fire going in the veld next to the offramp, that's where they burn the leftovers.

When you want to visit Beverly hills of the east, come to Bedfordview, come check out the gangstas Ferrari's

Not that far from Benoni....
 
Yawn! Got boggerall slaap last night! Up at the crack of dawn, I think if I head the wagon towards the sunrise, that should be the correct direction!

Sad story. The same guys that killed him, robbed a pharmacy that same night and killed a shoe store owner the week before that all while using the same getaway vehicle. Last I heard, they got cleaned up by cops in a shootout not too long ago.

When pulling into the local Domino's for the kids chow, A white farmer jumped out in front of me to warn me how dangerous this town had become, he warns most Namibian vehicles, as his family is from Omururu.... When booking into night place, the owner also warned us of a crime wave in the town.... :wtf:
 
Braai'd for all the kids last night.....not quite sure to make of Benoni so far, lots of dogs and horses and the people seem friendly......really enjoyed having a vicious guard dog outside my window..... Oh! And there's a mall that looks like apaddle steamer that goes nowhere..:whistle:

Plans for the day, have to drive the coach around this morning then team meeting at lunch, playing it by ear.....

Haha I'm from Benoni bro, grew up there. Its a pretty alright place.

Is Benoni a safe place? Yes, I suppose it is.

Are there area's to avoid? Avoid Crystal Park maybe..

Is it safe after dark? Depends, are you a ninja? Then its pretty safe :) No really, nothing bad really happens there.

How much does a beer cost? Nothing, if you good with the ladys.

Are the traffic cops bribeable? Traffic cops don't exist in benoni.

Do they speak English in Benoni? They speak Benonian

What currency do they use there? Rands and house hold items.

What is there to do and see in Benoni? Theres a lot, depending on what you are into.

Are the police reliable there? Are police ever really reliable. I'll tell you the CMS is reliable there. They're a decent squad.

How far from Benoni is Oom Fanie's house? Not sure on this one. Ask around

Ah that's the baby Benontrula.
Wonder where the mother is.
They usually about 10 x that size and hijack cars and eat the drivers.
PS you must be in numbers and they hate and scare for fire, cooking meat and beer.
