Have you had one? If not, from what experience are you basing your "facts" on? I've had an Alfa and it only had issues that came with the fact that parts wear after 14 years!I would not touch Fiat even if you paid me let's hope you and your daughter wouldn't learn the hard way. Because things ain't going to end to well between you guys and Fiat.
Fiat 500
I completely forgot about this car.
Nice choice.
Cars prices new & used are so over inflated in SA but this seems like a good deal.
This is such a Cape Town car, take it cruising in Camps Bay or a night out with friends. I am impressed by the euro N cap score & wish more parents would pay attention to safety features before buying a car for a loved one.
My ex bf had one, he seemed to like it and never complained about issues.
I am however confused. This car is rougly 90k used. Why are people buying the base vivo & ford figo? A used fiat 500 seems like a better deal & it is safer.

Agreed. I would this over a base Figo easily.
The main issue folks chose the Figo is due to the poor brand recognition of Fiat locally. That's pretty much it.

And best of all. Bought it from a dealer. Safe and sound. Did not pay a cent more for on road charges, registering, smash and grab done after the pics. All included. And full belly of petrol. 35 liters

Brilliant. And the Fiat 500 is very closely related to the Panda. My Fiat Panda was the best car I ever had. The person who bought it from me still uses it every day with zero problems.

Used to have it serviced at Gary Green in town - excellent service and good value.
I still miss that little Panda - was a lovely runaround.
