Geet Indian Restaurant in Brooklyn has a huge variety of curries and it's an upmarket place so you get good quality food

Not really in your area, but for anyone else looking, I always recommend Classic India. Very tender lamb with no fat, and their breads are among the best I have tasted. I specifically like the Lamb Korma with Aloo Paratha.

Best I have tasted so far in JHB, Tamarind Lounge, corner of Christiaan de Wet and John Vorster. Great bunnies, roti rolls, and breyani (only certain Fridays).

They had awesome mutton and samp last Friday. Almost as good as my mothers.

Durban style would be curry and all just behind the Shell at the corner of rivonia and south roads. Also Curry Leaf at the Buccleuch centre

Both are good, especially the breyani from Curry n All.

Heard last week that the quality at Curry Leaf has gone down a bit though, not sure how true it is.

For durban style curries (I can talk only about vegetarian curries - mix veg/beans), these are good although Chef's here have their watery curry moments.

For durban style curries (especially vegetarian curries - mix veg/beans), these are good although Chef's here have their watery curry moments.

Friends have had issues with the curry at Lugz a few times so have never eaten there.

Currylicious is good too.

It's not so much the recipe, it's the ingredients. If you get kark ingredients from a local PnP then you will end up with a kark curry. My mum gets hers in Durbs whenever she heads that way...

Yes exactly, it is very close to the Spar. We mostly get takeaways which are really good.
