Best ISP for large Capped Data?

I am currently in the market to move from Uncapped to Capped.

The reason for this is that the Business Uncapped 10Mbps offerings from Telkom, Mweb, Afrihost and Web Africa do not suit my current needs. Issues of shaping and throttling to poor service levels have driven me to the point of abandoning current uncapped solutions.

Our household/SME has never done more than about 850 - 900GB in one calendar month. Therefore, I am effectively looking to sign up for a 1TB Capped account.

I would like to know, from those who currently use capped accounts, which ISP offers the best capped performance? Performance in terms browsing, large and continuous downloads, streaming of HD content (Netflix and YouTube) and gaming online.

My needs require that the accounts be completely unshaped, unthrottled and unmanaged. In other words, if I pay for 1TB of Capped data, I should be able to use it as I see fit, at any time of day and without any restrictions.

Any and all advice and recommendations would be most welcome.

Edit: Alternatively, if you have a great experience with an Uncapped solution that I have yet to try, please do let me know.

MWeb 10mbps premium uncapped account apparently has a 950Gb throttling soft cap... My experience is prior to throttling their service works great.

Not sure if there is a 1Tb offering out there that matches that price. Let's see what others say.

I find it hard to believe you tried MWEB Business and were unhappy.

It was definitely MWEB Business. Having said that, they may have changed their policies since I had a Business Uncapped account with them, which was in January 2013.

It was definitely MWEB Business. Having said that, they may have changed their policies since I had a Business Uncapped account with them, which was in January 2013.

Proper Business accounts usually hover around R2000 for a 10meg account. Any cheaper than that and you get crap.

If you really wanna try capped, look at VOX Fatpipe or the 1.2TB Web Africa Business capped.

I am well aware of the costs of Business ADSL. However, there was a time when MWEB's business accounts were underperforming.

A lot can happen in the almost two years since I was with them, hence one of the purposes of this thread, to gauge if things have changed or if capped is really the only alternative.

I am currently on the 10Mbps Business Uncapped Pro package with Web Africa. It does not suit my needs courtesy of the 10-day rolling window.

1TB of Capped data is cheaper on VOX than their Uncapped Business ADSL. Considering that we do not use more than 1TB a month, the capped plan (R2550) appears more attractive than the Business Uncapped (R4774).
