For those who spend many hours a day behind a PC/Mac, which keyboard and mouse would you say are the best?

Corsair K70 RGB LUX.

Still looking for a decent mouse.

Mouse: Logitech MX Master

Use it for work. Superb battery time. Comfortable size for me. Smooth glide on most surfaces although I use it on a NAG mousepad.

My opinion. Logitech G910. Mice is debatable, but the Logitech G900 is phenomenal. These are expensive, but they cater to absolutely everything.

I've had good experiences with Microsoft's ergonomic keyboards (I have a 4000 at work)...they definitely work. Varying that with a standard shaped keyboard at home (Logitech G-series earlier and Corsair mechanical now) resolved some tingling in my hands.

There is no perfect mouse for everyone, IMO.

dude...that's like 4-5 grand. Expensive tastes, you've got :D

The best alternative is a Corsair K70 Lux, those not needing a keypad can have the K65, and Rival 100. This is the cheapest I will go, having decent equipment.

Everyone will love the Logitech G900 Chaos Spectrum, but is bloody expensive. I have the ASUS Spatha, which is a direct competitor, and its bulk is simply not making it a mouse. What makes the G900 special is its precision, not to mention that when in wireless mode it is more responsive than 99% wired mice on the market. Give it a year or two, and there will be cheaper varieties.

I'd kill for a KB like the G910. I also know that I would be killed if I even tried to bring it home :p

Corsair K70 Rapidfire + Logitech MX Master

Work or Home?

Any particular model/s?

LOGITECH WLS DESKTOP MK710

I still use the KB at work, although it is starting to shows signs of wear. The mouse died some time back now. Good set for office use ;)

I bought one, the v2 (Orion Spectrum) with the non-alien design, it is a good balance between work and gaming. It is much more type-orientated. Gamers will appreciate the Corsair K-series more. I have tested these vigorously. Cherry switches also has better click than these Omron switches, but the Omron sensitivity is spot on and not as loud as the Red or Brown switches.
