Best keyboard and mouse

The best alternative is a Corsair K70 Lux, those not needing a keypad can have the K65, and Rival 100. This is the cheapest I will go, having decent equipment.

Portability is key for me. I like 2 in 1 keyboards like the Logitech Wireless Touch K400+

May someone explain? I made the above post and also replied to NeoProd?

Copy paste competition entry clone. Not a very bright one at that...

Thanks to this thread I finally pulled the trigger on my peripheral upgrade. I read your advice very thoroughly, and promptly ignored it and got a Corsair Strafe RGB and M65x Pro. Why?

Because the K70 doesn't have silent switches and the MX Master isn't a Corsair :) Also got an MM300 mousepad to complete the set.

Mouse: Logitech MX Master

Use it for work. Superb battery time. Comfortable size for me. Smooth glide on most surfaces although I use it on a NAG mousepad.

+1

Great work mouse. When the battery dies, you just plug it in via micro USB. No need to look for batteries or dock it.
Ergonomically the best mouse I've held in my hands.
Has 3 channels, so I use it at the office, then take it home and use it with my media PC from the couch.

Keyboard wise I like my Logitech K800 Illuminated keyboard, but mainly because I want a desktop keyboard that is similar to my laptop keyboards for consistent typing feel between devices.

Logitech G502 Proteus Core is a humble but hard-working upper mid-end mouse that steps in to lend support where the Logitech G5 left off. Not the most comfortable by comparison, but certainly similar and adding an interesting twist of a thumb rest to reduce friction and keep the area clear around the front and central mouse area on the mouse pad to improve tracking. A suitable choice for general gaming and reasonable choice for FPS when you can't splash out buckets of cash. (The G900 Chaos Spectrum is the hefty top-end version)

Corsair K70 LUX - great build quality, with awesome keys.
I personally have the G502 Proteus, not the most aesthetically pleasing mouse, but very comfortable and accurate.

I like the wireless comfort and have found the following model of Logitech to work great without any issues Logitech Wireless Wave Combo MK550
