Best Payment Gateway to use

Hi All,

I wanted to find out if anyone knows or has a matrix of payment Gateway companies who offer the best value for money?

I have a client who would like to set up a site and although I have used Payfast in the past, I wanted to find out if they can use anything else which I might not know of and might be better.

Also, they would have to support Paypal too.

So what kind of billing options do you guys need? Just credit cards are you looking at debit orders as well?

If you're looking for credit cards only, go for 2CO - theyre very efficient with their support and they support Paypal as well. And clients wouldnt need to have an account with them to pay you, they can just fill in their details and off you go. Highly recommended from my side.

Never go with Globill.net <-- Cape Town based I think - they've got hidden fees like you wont believe. On one of my other sites i had sales of about R1500 and only got R780 out of them.

Otherwise. MyGate seems like a good option.

Thanks for the advice Anton, I will keep that in mind.

What I like about Payfast is that there are no subscription fees with them. You only pay a percentage of the sale made + R2 (in the case of VISA or credit card). I see a friend of mine went from Payfast to UKash and I have tried getting hold of her to ask why the change but not gotten in contact with her yet.

What I need is the following:

  1. Minimal costs to my client
  2. Paylpal a must
  3. Simple integration with most online shops

We use Netcash however I have no current basis for my choice as it was made 2 years ago, it was cheaper than using the banks although I mainly use their service for debit orders....

I am from a company called MyGate and we specialize in ecommerce and offer merchants tier 1 payment gateway service meaning that you have your own merchant account giving you direct access to your funds and there is no 3rd party handling your funds. MyGate also charges a flat fee per transaction and do not take a percentage like most payment gateways. Hi. I also use Setcom. They have the best support department I have ever seen and their fees are very low.
hey also have a product called SID which is an instant EFT system. Just what we needed.
 
I am pretty sure this discussion is on payment processors and not shopping carts.

The post you're referring to was a spammer spamming in every thread he could find to advertise his services ;)
