From the box I've seen in IC and the screenshot, it's a sealed box containing the PS4 and the 5 games. I doubt they would split it up and offer me another game.
Doesn't hurt to try? Only reason I mentioned is that the guys at musica were willing to switch out the games for me for the exact same bundle. Presumably to get the sale.
I held off though since R6999 for the bundle was too exorbitant, especially since Takealot had the same bundle with the PSTV for R6799.
Good thing as well! As I returned home and checked Takealot, the bundle had dropped to R6199 sans the PSTV.
I just wanted to point out that they probably use a slower spinning fan in the newer models and it runs about 5 degrees hotter.
I never really hear my PS4... I mainly play Fifa online without the sound on and then put on series on another monitor....haha! I also have aircon in my room, so that may help my console out.
However, when you eject a disk it sounds like a jet taking off!

Have an aircon as well. I can hear the fan with a headset on while playing some games like Witcher 3 or Fallout 4 or even KillZone.
It's a well known problem affecting many launch consoles.
Whether it's a slower fan or a different blade profile doesn't really matter to me, I just want to find out if I can retrofit it without any issues.
So did you receive your console yet? I saw recently on takealot the say it is the cuh 11xx model? Which one did you get?
yup i got it! it's definitely the cuh-1216b. not sure why the takealot site shows it as the cuh-11xx model

Am i enjoying it? IMHO, specifically for me, the ps4 UI is way better than the ps3 UI. i'm liking it alot more. still playing around with the APPified environment.
ps4 looks prettier than the ps3 for sure.
i like the fact that i can attach headphones to the controller and have sound playing through them so i don't wake up the little ones and still get to enjoy above whisper level sound.
games are great on it, so far just playing last of us

it was the best deal i found at the time. i would have like an extra controller for the R6.2k i paid.
i had sold all my ps3 stuff to get the ps4. so was pretty much a swop for me.
Thanks for the reply. Glad to hear you are enjoying the PS4. I am struggling to pull the trigger and buy one, as I am not sure if I'll have the time to fully enjoy it without neglecting the wife and 1 year old...
I guess it's all about balance hey, just a lot of things to balance while doing this "being an adult" thing. Maybe a nice deal will seal it for me

Haha! Yes! This "being an adult" gig is not cool.
The only time i have to play is after 10pm. And that's a choice between playing a game or watching something!
Hopefully there will be better deals soon to move inventory?

Yeah, as soon as the Rand tanked I bought mine. Before they got stock at the new exchange rate. I doubt any price cuts from the manufacturers will offset the dive the Rand took.
The "old stock" bundles like the Uncharted one is probably the last chance we'll get. My camera equipment replacement value went up almost 40% from this time last year....
Because they are struggling to move stock plus they just announced their slim model...All these Xbox one consoles on special for youth day, but no PS4 deals
