Just wondering what VPN you have tested and works best, while preserving quality.

I tested a video site in the US, with Windscribe, you can use 2gb before you have to top up, however the loss of quality in the picture was pretty substantial.
Cyberghost looks very attractive, and it has a server in South Africa.

Smartdnsproxy allows you test for free for 14 days. When I used the trial all was good... Only after I subscribed did the trouble start for me.

Most people are happy with them, it just didn't work for me.

Their support is quite good.

Controld would probably be a better option if he only wants to bypassing geoblocking.

There’s more pro servers so you’ll get better routing since you can pick a closer US server. Best way to test will be with build a plan for $2.

I personally have 2 x 30GB Windscribe free accounts and only ever had a good experience. I have not used them in a while though

Mullvad and Astrill are both good. Mullvad is a bit pricey.

If you buy Kaspersky antivirus then you get their VPN added in, I think its like R650 a year for both. Their VPNs are fast and you can double or even triple the VPN server bouncing at the same time.

Absolutely no performance hit as the stream isn't encapsulated inside a tunnel.

No, you pay for a service to go the geo jumping.

Haven’t needed them in years but there are plenty.

Getflix is the way to go, I’ve been using them for many years and they have never let me down. SmartDNS in my router and a free VPN chucked in for when you are on the move.

You can try Proton VPN for free on Android phones without having to sign up / sign in.

But with that option, they get to choose the "Fastest free server" each time you connect / reconnect, and also note - after most reconnections, they keep you on the same connection for either (usually) 1,5 to 2 minutes or close to 20 minutes, after which time you can play roulette again and try a different server.
