WTF! This is news to me. I've been using my package assuming the R100 package can be used for anything.
I agree this should be breach of contracts.... But I think they might get away with they are allowed to make changes to prices when they please.. I think there is somehting of that sort in the contract...
This is so FSKING PATHETIC FROM THEM! This should definately be breach of contract as I was told multiple times that I could use it however I saw fit![]()
Customers should have been advised accordingly by the relevant stores when subscribing to these packages,

I've lodged a complaint about this and according to MTN, they'll investigate and get back to me in about 36 working days since it seems to be a billing fsckup. Go figure.
Be fair, there are acceptable use issues here. If we all push each offering to the limit or use it outside the (possibly unstated) intent, we'll end up with too many rules to remember and too few competitive offerings. I do not think this is being skelm.
BULLFCKNSHYTE!!MTN hit back, saying that the business rule of allowing a maximum of 20% of the inclusive airtime value for data was officially communicated to all MTN outlets. “Customers should have been advised accordingly by the relevant stores when subscribing to these packages,” said MTN.
“The website and the brochure clearly state that the Anytime packages ‘are not to be used primarily for data’
MTN... Yes their communication sucks.
Besides all this, why would anyone want to use their inclusive cash on data? They charge R2/meg
Using R200 out of a R350 package for data is retarded. That'll get you far less than you could buy if you got a bundle...
Get a cheaper contract and add a data bundle!!!!!!
