Back in February this year I took a 400GB data contract with MTN.
Every month since then I have been short allocated data :
17 FEB - Short 80GB
17 MARCH - Short 80GB
and now 17 APRIL 121.49GB short!
It's rather fun having to phone and ask MTN for my missing data every month.
Depending when you call, you might be transferred to various departments who
then ask you to email them the contract you signed.
Turn-around time for resolution:
FEB - 9 days
MARCH - 7 days
APRIL - now we wait
This does make me question why hasn't this been fixed by now or does MTN even want to fix it?
Having signed a 24 month contract do I even have the legal right to cancel without occurring additional costs?
How many other South African's actually check their allocations? Or do we take it for granted that our balances are correct?
