Beware when ordering from RARU...

Been waiting since the end of June 2021 for some of my items. RARU owes me more than R10 000-00 in undelivered goods – no communication. Got legal advice and it is between a criminal case (might not get my money back) and civil action which will cost me no less than R6 000-00 (already spent just below R1 000-00) on legal advice. On the upside, I should be able to get my legal fees back from these people. Obviously a credit card action should have been best, but these guys are experts – they split the orders so that half the orders do get delivered thus complicating matters. A bunch of scammers.

6 months in and you still seem so calm. I would have shown up at the owners place
 
A bunch of guys (including me), who have been part of sagamer.co.za for over 10 years started creating threads regarding their lack of service and refunds not being paid back.

As raru owns sagamer, they deleted most of the threads saying anything negative about them, and banned all members for criticising them... If anyone says anything negative about them you will be banned.

The banned members then formed a discord group. Sagamer then made the word "discord" a bannable offence. If you says discord in any post you will be banned.


Quite a joke of a site now.

I see SAGamer is now closing it's doors. It would appear Raru pulled funding there.

Who owns Raru and is propagating these dubious business practices?
 
Jeez dude, I don't like them either but this is some serious doxing!
Then you can complain to the POPI/Cyber police.

I remember when we had that dude with the Mybroederbond Twit account saying that we should contact him on his given email address, someone also complained about doxing when reposted here.
I'm all for giving people the information they need when being scammed.

I'm still waiting for Marc Schatz to give me one of his lawyer emails for "doxing" him on the internet.

Their warranty/faulty item return is also useless. Had an expesnive bluetooth headset fault where it would disconnect after 5seconds from any windows 10 pc/laptop it connects to.. Send it back stating its used only with Windows10 andn o other platforms and they respond with "we tested it with our android phones and found no faults, so we will be returning the item to you"
 
The thing that worries me now is what do I do if something happens to my PS5? After a whole month of back and forth with scumbags.co.za... uh, I mean raru.co.za I finally did get my PS5 that I ordered from them, but now I'm wondering what do I do if something happens to my PS5 and I have to send it in for repairs. It's still under warranty, so do I have to go through raru (please God no) if I need to send it in or what? I'm just wondering for in case something does happen. I'd honestly rather take a nail to the eye than deal with raru again. It's just shocking that these clowns are not under investigation by now.

I'm gonna hazard a guess they'll return it to you saying they could find nothing wrong - even if its in two parts.

Hopefully the PS5 is like that Xbox and you get warranty support direct from Sony and not via the retailer.
