Big Windows 10 update coming soon

So the thing was not really ready, just had to meet that july 29 deadline aye
Correct. Microsoft said so all along. For over a year the planned release date was 2015 Q4. However, with the PC market tanking, the major IHVs (hardware makers, as MSFT calls them) begged Nadella to shoot for the 2015 Back to School season in the USA to help boost sales. In response to their pleas Microsoft rejigged things so that a workable and stable early release could go to market at the end of July. The single Win10 planned for Oct/Nov 2015 was split into Threshold I for July, and the complete and original planned release was called Threshold II. We'll get that as an update next month.

In reality, the originally intended Win10 is only shipping next month.

If it were true, we would have major th2 release on the 2nd October (as previously announced) and plenty of new gadgets with Intel Cherry Trail on the market. In my opinion manufacturers are holding production, as:
1. Windows is still nor ready for a market.
2. Microsoft should learn that default Windows settings gives customers endless problems, besides of hudge Internet connection bills. OEMs cannot afford increasing returns and flood of customer support calls.

This is what OEMs tell Microsoft. Fix this f^$ken Windows first or you will be going down.
