Biggest ADSL ISPs

In terms of ADSL ISP's

Datapro own @lantic so it all falls under Datapro The are quite large. Mweb and Telkom must be the largest. I would also then Say IS.

I base my reasoning on the following: Large ISP would sell more than 10 000 GB per month. I only know of 5 ISP's that do

I wouldn't say that 10T a month is a big ISP in the overall scheme of the current ADSL market - small to medium maybe.

25TB on 3GB(well some 2GB) accounts.. =~ 8333 accounts assuming by the 4th amount people leached and people haven't balanced out perfectly to 3GB

i know, i recall speaking to clients and them telling me they capped and then they gimme a list to check man i remember when local was still open after cap.. one guy called in on the 13th? and had done something like 150GB on one account. I was impressed.

IMO there can only be one ADSL ISP that has the largest number of subscribers - I mean hostages:

1. TelkodemonopoliesHindernet

certainly not the ADSL ISP I use, but definitely the impression I get is that TelkodemonopoliesHindernet has the most ADSL customers.

Well u got to remember how the Telkom advertisement machine works as well as how the call center responds when u make your order. Its always gonna be the question: 'So will you be taking an ISP account with us sir? or your own, remember dial up ISP's won't work..' And so it begins. Infact i'd go as far and say if it weren't for the fact that Ti is cross sold so often it wouldn't be where it is. Think about it, how often do newbie users actually go with a different ADSL ISP unless directly informed by a friend/colleague/buddy/other about another isp. Also the single bill for everything is very enticing. makes life simple.

Ordering an ADSL line without a contract or Ti as ISP is like a hurdle race.
