Yes, it's called capitalism. The millions who live in total poverty don't do the job the CEO does.

Many people seem to misunderstand the role and value of a CEO/CFO in a company. They don't make the big bucks by simply sitting on their asses all day long doing nothing.

Exactly, for IT, yes Jo'burg, but these days Capetown is becoming the Silicon Valley of Africa, so developer salaries for seniors do start to look better for me in CT.

But for Journalism a family member got double his salary offered in CT, compared to offers in JB. Let us just say I now have family in the cape.
