6k pm and you only managed to live OK because you were with the rents? You must have expensive taste my friend to burn though that rent free.

Perspective ....


Live in Sandton or Stellenbosch - see R5000 as pocket money.

Live in Khayelitsha R5000 is worth killing for, but the lifestyle is different.

And thats the South African dichotomy that keeps the ANC in power, the poor poor and the expectation for a better life high.
 
Our driver actually returned to work after being absent for 7 working days without any notice.He had some "family matters" to sort out, plus he wasn't happy with the 1k increase.

After numerous calls from my side he finally returned for a chat so that we could hear what is going on and discuss on how we could move forward.

We will now purchase another motorcycle for his own personal transport from home/work as he doesn't have his own transport, this will also hopefully eliminate him being late almost daily.

Also agreed on giving him another increase come middle of the year to bring him inline with what other "drivers" earn in the field.

I'd love to pay this guy more, but we a very small company, heck we 3 people in total, that's including him!
