im thinking it was returned stock and this guy gets them and sells for cheaper

Anyone have any special tips, mine is to fry the coriander in a non-stick pan before crushing it with a pestle and mortar. Gives off much more flavour.

going to try that and add some crushed chill flakes to it

I must admit, the spices I bought from my butcher tasted a whole lot nicer than the Crown Safari biltong spice I got from another butcher.
