Bird Photography

Spotted this one on my garden fence this morning while making coffee. Not a very good photo, very overcast and only had my point and shoot within reach. Had to zoom to almost max so picture quality not very good.

Anybody know the name of this one?

Edit: Seems to be a Black Sparrow Hawk

Accipeter melanoleucus - Black Sparrowhawk - agree

Mouse bird.

Go - Away Bird actually . Afr Grysloerie , at times named Kwe Vool . This is the only bird I've ever seen feeding on Syringa tree seeds for what thats worth. Got shots of a Mousebird that will be posted later on .

Or to dig into some semantics - a mousebird is a mousebird but if see two or more , are they then Micebirds ? :-)

Was going to go with go-way bird, but thought that would be too easy.
Looks like a juvenile though.

Regarding your semantics - have heard that they are called mousebird/s.

On another topic, a group of geese is called a gaggle of geese.
What is a group of Egyptian Geese called?

Well , if you ever visit LC de Villiers for BIF shots one early morning and have to clean the shoes before getting back into the car - several swearwords required .

Ok pezulu - own up and spell it out.

Jip. Was at AR as well. Might go again tomorrow morning. Either AR or Rietvlei.
