I phoned Bitco Yesterday at about 12. I was told that my line is now active and I can start using it after 7 days of soaking. But I haven't received my router yet? I'm only maybe getting my router on Monday... Was really hoping to use the internet before the weekend. The worst part is that they didn't know that I haven't received my router yet... Does no one keep track of what is delivered or not?

As per my PM to you over the weekend we have had a major stock shortage of routers and has caused delays with handovers
Our wireless team was installing like normal to avoid physical installation delays but routers had been a problem for us
i have been informed by our operations manager that we have received a large shipment of devices and everyone will receive delivery today.
Typically this process is well streamlined but occasionally things happen with stock that are out of our control.

Are you at liberty to say where that new Faerie Glen highsite is located ? (GPS ?)
There are two or three hills to the north of Faerie Glen, and even though I've been keeping an eye out from my rooftop, I can't see any sign of a new concrete tower ... ?

I must be one of the lucky ones............no packet loss, no lag when playing BF4,Destiny,COD AW etc. Streaming YT HD,Twitch and VIDI no issues. I'm really beginning to think this is all about location, LOS, Fresnel Zone.
Suggestion, maybe get Bitco to re-soak your connections!!
Let them do a live analysis using the same services as the customer utilizes.
FUP is steep but livable.... for now, it does need to be revised!
Unless of course, you actually mean the big concrete tower on top of the famous Scientiae (CSIR) hill ... ?
That hill is pretty high and has line-of-sight into many of the eastern suburbs, albeit at a distance.

Sigh, I've been with Bitco for about 1.5 months now and haven't had one happy day yet. This morning my speeds looked like this: http://www.speedtest.net/my-result/4217314060 and tonight games are totally unplayable. I'm just going to bed hoping everything looks better tomorrow.
Edit: Mike will resoaking the line help? I'm desperate enough to try anything.
It's the way Hulu does it's adverts.
The adverts load in full 1080p in the background while it's trying to stream your episode (ever noticed the adverts never buffer or stop?)
It's not a bitco issue, its the way Hulu works, we have found that selecting a show and putting it on pause for about 2 minutes while you get some coffee lets you run through the entire episode without this issue occuring.
