Thanks for this, looks pretty solid. Going to be signing up for the 10mbps uncapped. I really hope this doesn't give me any issues as I'm looking at a 12 month contract

From what I've read, it seems CS:Go has major packet loss issues on bitco. If anyone can confirm or highlight this point, I'd really appreciate it. It's about the only thing stopping me from moving over.

Well I've reached the point where I just flat out quit playing CSGO, the frustration of dealing with Bitco on a weekly basis is not worth it... On a positive note Bitco works perfectly for the other games I play online (awesome pings to EU) WoW and D3... And its great for my steam downloads, I have an addiction of buying steam games on special:p

I am finding it hard to grasp how 1 game can be so effected by a wireless link yet not many of the other FPS games are. Out curiosity do you get the same from CSS or TF2 (or any other source based game)? Might be a valve issue and heartbeat packets being sent to them for copy protection/match making etc. A little research on google brings up that the issue happens on DSL when people are connected by wifi and that the problem goes away when they connect a lan cable. *and so the plot thickens*

Aaaand back to square 1 :| After a bit of reading, it seems the higher tickrate in CSGo vs other FPS games is the issue. I'm yet to receive a direct response from Bitco. Whatevs. Sticking with DSL i guess.

I'll check what the price is on CSGO and give it a go. In need of a good FPS for the PC and hardly anyone plays Insurgency so might give it a go. Will update you once I have done so.

Lol, it's one of the only games i play these days, switched from BF4 October last year, got addicted to CS. Hence the reason the loss issue is important to me. Again, if you are worried, I can gift the game to you, really isn't a problem as this is the only thing stopping me from joining bitco.

You know what, let's do this. Gift it to me, if I don't have any issues I'll buy you something again to the same value? Does that sound like a deal?

Just scared of buying it and it sucks as per Wikkels.
 
4% packet loss.

That's pretty bad...

Edit: Looks like it's caused by Bitco's router's WIFI and not the connection itself.
Now I need to figure out how to use my own router (which has proper wifi) or replace their router with mine altogether.

0% packet loss over 500 pings if connected with ethernet cable.

You can use your own router as long as it has a WAN port. You will have to log a ticket requesting the config details for the use of your own router. This will naturally give you greater control over the settings you require and the WiFi.

Are you sure the nature of the half-duplex wireless link is not the cause of your problems ?

Setting up your own router is quite easy. All you need is the Bitco router's Username and Password. Rest of the details you can get on the Bitco router. If anyone wants I can write a quick guide.
