Bitcoin's identity crisis

Well, this is interesting. Maybe not so much an identity crisis as ETF approved providers playing hedging games.

been calling the market manipulated for months now, glad to see some evidence come to light ... not that I expect it to make any difference in the long run though

more on the recent/current manipulation:

Bitcoin should never have gotten futures, perps, leverage and all manner of other paper bitcoin derivative bullcrap, it was never needed, and the worst seems to be the ETFs that have no 100% asset backed requirement for holding "bitcoin" on their books, they just sell / buy tons of bitcoin that does not, and will never, exist on a daily basis

You can't claim to have called something if it was glaringly obvious lol

hindsight is always 20/20

I have twitter posts of a fair number of crypto "influencers" lamenting the dips and asking "why oh why" all the way back to November last year, where if you knew my X handle you would see me in the comments replying: "because it is paper bitcoin manipulation by the ETFs"

what you would not see is anyone else saying the same thing at the time, now I'm not claiming I was the only one, just based on what I saw there were VERY few people saying it for over 3 months already

From the start, like with all crypto, it was clear that is was directed by the super rich.

from the start that was not a problem, if you have to deploy real money to move the market then at least you take a big risk and when you get it wrong you get burnt, you do that often enough you will run out of money

with ETF paper bitcoin there is effectively infinite fake money driving the manipulation, that was not a thing from the start of crypto, hell that was not a thing for quite a while after ETFs were already up and running

it's been building and it's only really become the pure-fake-infinite-money-manipulation that it is now in the last 6 months or so

It's been clear from around 2017 for me that this is just movement of cash and large scale manipulation by "whales" (lol)

All these social media crypto evangelists have no real clue.

Who has actually bought any coin for it'd actual use case, other than to hope for moon and cash out?

again: massive difference between people with lots of real money risking that real money (i.e. whales), and an infinite money machine taking no risk to swing the market in whatever direction it wants

I don't believe those people risking real money are risking it at all. They have enough of it to play with, and they also end up determining the direction of BTC. I would not be surprised if there is some form of collusion.

Then, that's MY take, and I don't j ow enough to tell you you're wrong. However I have seen this as a "scam" of sorts many years ago.

So I sold off most of my crypto portfolio last boom. Made a pretty penny but got a reserve like 30% of my initial investment.

Crypto fundis should I buy or hodl now ?

all depends on your risk appetite and time horizon

if you have plenty of time and don't mind some risk: buy
if not: hodl

BItcoin ties back to the vegas mafia as well......or the jewish mob by another name. Mayer lanksky, Bugsy Siegal etc were all about money laundering and although decades later the pieces were moved into place with no small influence by their efforts. Zec (zionist cash) is also rumoured to have been started by the Mossad. I am going to sell mine if that is confirmed. Evil people.

You mean illegal streaming, right? The only use case left for crypto is crime.
Do you want to know what is used for more crimes than crypto? Cash.

Cash is involved in more fraud than crypto. Its used by more criminals than crypto.

Lol, this old trope.
