I don't think she's wrong or has anything to apologise for. Look at the stats for baby rapes and you will see a pattern. But highlighting that would be racist.
Way to much PC BS going around. Call a spade a spade.
You agree it's a cultural phenomenon? I grew up in those communities. This was unheard of. It came as a shock when news of babies being raped finally trickled down to the elders. Do you even know what you're talking about?
Not surprised. I'd probably cry too if I were told the central purpose of my existence is to procreate. Cry with laughter that is.It's called BS.
One of the best parkour kids I've ever known, today almost cried, when I told him that he was made to keep breeding, creating, teaching...keeping those genes alive and shaping this world.
Others would be used for war. Others will be cannon fodder.
He will keep training, for when he is needed...whilst living the life we each expect.
Why then is it happening so often?
Well let's just say that it sure as **** isn't because their GP told them it'd cure a cold!![]()
The problem isn't just the sangomas. It is also those that are taught, and that continue to teach, within their culture, blind adherence to and reverence of sangomas. That particular culture will be almost exclusively black if not exclusively black.why is it a cultural phenomenon that white people rape kids in churches?
which "culture" approves of this marine1? don't say "black people".
if this is cultural, why does not every black person give their kids up to be raped to the less fortunate?
the problem here are the sangomas, just like the islam extremists, the pedophile priests and child -abusing hindus. funnily enough when it's the priests, its' the evil of religion, when it's muslims committing crimes, people are quick to point out it's not "a race so it isn't racism", but when it's black people ....
Lack of Education......
Are you arguing that you were born with your sense of morality exactly as it exists today? You think thats an excuse?

Unless that is your argument, as opposed to the idea that we pick up our sense of right and wrong as we move through life, then I don't know how you can't view a lack of education, or even an exposure to potentially destructive ideas like taking a sangoma as an unquestionable paragon of spirituality, as something that isn't an excuse.
I imagine had you been exposed to similar destructive ideas with nobody ever teaching you to respect others, you too would behave in a similar manner.
Did you even bother to read it?

Firstly you need to consider where the sample came from. If it was all performed in one country in which people all receive a similar education and have similar values instilled into them then it is no wonder they had people responding in similar ways (not that they did, which is even more telling).
The article clearly mentions that there are differences in our senses of morality and that our morality is shaped by our experiences. That our rational minds can be used to perform tasks that other human beings may not perform.
Basically it says you can rationalise a choice to make it seem moral to you. Which is what I'm saying.
You think that's an excuse?
An education that teaches you that rape, brutality and murder are acceptable means you will likely view rape, brutality and murder as acceptable. Your article merely confirms this. I agree that their actions are still detrimental to society and they need to be kept separate from society in order to keep everyone safe but it is an explanation for their actions. It is at that cultural level (that education that says, in our example, that rape, brutality and murder are acceptable) that this needs to be address. Throwing these people in prison endlessly is not a practical solution.Yes I did and it says a lot about culture. Did you read it?
Culture shapes you but you are born with a basic sense of morality.
This woman is spot on
We can argue this until we are blue in the faces. Some cultures accept murder, rape, brutality, others do not.
Lack of education is no excuse.
No its dying because of greed and racism. This country started out violently and will probably always be violent, look at what happens here with the unions, strikes, farm attacks, murder, rapeThere is never an excuse for such an act, however, I get tired of seeing how such a beautiful country like South Africa is suffering due to everything about white and black..... it's festering, if everyone had a proper education, this kind of things would not be happening on such a scale.....
not arguing with you hereFor what it's worth, I fecking hate, absolutely loath rapists and pedi;s in a big way, we just had a repeat offender in our little town, A blerrie White German dick, 80 odd years old.... This prick hid behind the cover the church, molested a girl 8 years old ... A girl I know, friend of the family.... I was livid as this bastard went to the same church as Head Office and would turn up at my house over XMAS and EASTER with sweets for the kids.... back then I told Head Office not to let that cutn in this house and I always stood behind her with the most unfriendliest vibe towards him.... After he was caught out, the church stepped into redeem him..... what a lot of tosh.... those fecks do not change...... they forgave him.... and a mere 8 months later he was caught again peddling(fingering) sweets to the black kids in the park down the road from my house.... The police arrested him, he is out on bail , He avoids me, if I see him I am going intentionally knock into him and send him to his makers...
I went to a boarding school full of pedi's .. child abusers and can spot the ****ers a mile off.......
Point being, he was white, educated.... it's not a race thing, but if you educate the masses you shall remove a lot of the ignorance.......
What you are not prepared to accept based on this evidence is that we are born with some moral compass. I DO without doubt believe this.An education that teaches you that rape, brutality and murder are acceptable means you will likely view rape, brutality and murder as acceptable. Your article merely confirms this. I agree that their actions are still detrimental to society and they need to be kept separate from society in order to keep everyone safe but it is an explanation for their actions.
