Yes we do. It's called stats. You can disagree with it all you want but the indication is clear. Some people have a tough time swallowing hard truths.

he has a point tho, just looking at this thread you can see the ignorant comments made by white people. since i've joined here a lot of them have changed their views and actually understand the real problem, but you still get members who live in Oz

it's not a generalization as it is not all white people making these comments, but posters who just happen to be white are the ones that believe it is culture. i know a lot of white people that see black people as one great collective, extended family members included.

ignorance isn't limited to race but we've had a lot of ignorant comments made by posters here about other races because they see race as a deciding and limiting feature. it frustrates me when people have enough brains to see superstition is a load of bull, but they left a section of their brain vacant when it came to individuality and science.

the real problem is that when you are uneducated, you hold a very limited view on the world where things are still mysterious and where you look for an authority figure. every race and country does this, there are people that put their trust in priests, sangomas, doctors and partners when holding a position is no guarantee about that person's character.

the people that have gotten AIDS have already ****ed in the first place to have picked up the disease, now all they know is that they're dying and that they will take anyway out. they can go to a sangoma that says "there is no cure", then they can go to another sangoma tha tsays the same thing, until they eventually find a sangoma that says "there is a cure, give me R300 and i'll tell you", and due to primitive beliefs shares a harmful practice that harms innocent victims. the sangoma and the person so desperate for a cure does not care.
