If you really want it to look like Vista, then get the Vista Transformation Pack. Be advised that you'll probably have to format your Windows partition to get XP back the way it was if you decide you don't like it (uninstall usually doesn't work properly), it hooks quite deeply...

Some parts look similiar to Vista, others worse, most look horrible. If you REALLY want your XP to look like Vista, download UXtheme multipatcher and a VIsta look-alike theme, and then do the rest step by step. Get an icon program and replace all of the icons. Get a sidebar program. I've even got a program (I don't use, but I never delete setups) that shows those little things under your drives, so you know straight away how full they are, just like Vista...
About the OP, I think this thing would be much better if they actually put some thought into it. i.e. Only put ONE good anti-virus program and ONE firewall, etc. And I purpose it wouldn't hurt to remove the viri...

I dont and i have no intention to...I was simply looking for a skin or mod that makes XP look like Vista...My system isnt that great and so i dont want Vista, otherwise i would buy it ...Im just bored of the Same old XP skin....Thanks Gramps

VTP can easily be uninstalled AFAIK (The last version i used was from August last year and it had the ability to be uninstalled)
I've got a version of XP Black but it's pretty old but the install isn't totally unattended as you can decide which applications you would like to install at the beginning but some do get installed automatically but then you can easily just uninstall them.
Best bet would to make your own type of XP Black by nliting an original XP iso.

yeah, I wouldnt use some other doods xp installed with some dodgy CDKey and apps. Thanks tho, for the Vista Transformation pack thing, I'll try the demo, since Vista looks good, XP seems to work faster, interested to see what impact this pack has on performance and obviously the looks.
Get UXtheme and then download some themes from winmodify.net or wincustomize.com
Or download the Microsoft Zune theme, which I am using at the moment and quite enjoy.

Thanx for finding the tread Gary. I got XP Platinum from a "source" 
and I'm running it right now. It's very cool and I don't have any prob. Looks sweet and it's packed full of goodies so yeah... u guys get my point.

I have not had chance to install it myself yet... but I have to fix up some PCs tommorrow and I think I might give it a test run!

No virus but when I ran a Spyware scan I got 3 spyware reg entries. Deleted it and smooth sailing from there! I just ran a spyware check again and no prob.
