BlackBerry 4.5 software?

Sorry to bump this thread - has anybody been able to update their Pearls (8100) to 4.5? Using a Vodafone edition from somehwere?

I would love to update mine for the attachment and HTML features, but am concerned that I'll either brick the phone, lose the Afrikaans dictionary or end up with a phone that won't work on Vodacom's BIS...

Is there a way to get a program like DAP to download it? I cant get it to, and a normal download keeps bombing out at various stages, having to restart all over?

Not sure for how long but I noticed today that it is finally available for the Pearl!

Can some one confirm. Trying to login to ABSA mobile banking with Blackberry browser ver 4.5 end get an error. Was working 100% with 4.2.
