Can someone plz point me in the right direction so that I can get all my stuff working again like when I first got the phone from Vodacom?
OK, i need some help here please
So since i was meant to be based at a client for a few months, I had them create a BES account for me so that I could get my emails on my BB. It seemed like the only way. Was already getting my other work email via IMAP and using the GMail app for my GMail emails.
Then eventually realised that I could not upgrade the BB OS/software on my BB device or get updates via BB Desktop Software Manager (BECAUSE i was on their BES server). When i finished off at the client about 3 weeks ago I had them delete my BB account on their BES server. Then i went overseas for 3 weeks (used a pre-paid simcard whilst there) and now that I am back in SA I realise that my BB browser does not work anymore (i thought it was because i changed some data settings whilst overseas, but now I realise it might be because my traffic has to go thru their BES server).
Before I left for overseas, it was recommended to me that the easiest way to remove this BES stuff off my device would be to wipe the device. I initially balked at the idea but now I feel I have no choice.

EDIT: fixedafter being directed by the vodacom blackberry consultant on 082 155.
EDIT2: I had to go to Advanced Options > Host Routing Table > Register Now.
That sent that registration message to me from Vodacom and I had to take my battery out for a couple of minutes and then start up again.
And then finally changing from Blackberry Browser to Internet Browser under the browser options seemed to do the trick!
