Thought I died and went to Singapore for a couple of seconds but then it settled. Bad weather out usually average 250kb/s. Although I did manage to get a 721kb/s download so I makes me wonder about the validity of the benchmark.

I took out my MTN sim from my E90 and stuck it in the Berry (I have BES/BIS on MTN as well)

You call 120 Kbits/s awesome? I will not be satisfied with less than 500.

With all due respect, given the throughput I have experienced thus far on VC BIS I did jump for joy, but not for long, see below

I really and truly wanted to believe VodacomData when he made the announcement that things were going to get better, (upgrade link to RIM, 24 October) I really did, even advocated to wait and see, but now I am just plain g@tv0l :(

Speedtest app times out waiting, as do pages.

BIS was down for a good few hours today.

I'm starting to become less blase about this whole thing.

Hooray Vodacom. Thanks for reinforcing the crappy image I have of companies in SA.

guys, stop running the speedtest.
Firstly it is clogging the network, secondly it's not accurate.

we all know the service is busted based on experience of trying to use it.
