I know (some) Samsung phones you can block a number on your phone itself. My sister has a Nokia and a contract with Vodacom, how can she block a number that is bugging/stalking her?

You can do one of two things: Go to the police with it (it works, but is a process) and take the case number to Vodacom, who will investigate
OR
I've seen mobile applications that can block numers. Not sure of they're free though.

my ku990 lets me block any specific number, or i can block numbers that show up as unknown or i can block a number in my phone list.

some other handsets also support this feature, if it bugs you so much, maybe buy a phone that has the ability.

Answer the call and then press the end call button every time that he calls you. He will get charged for the call and eventually run out of airtime.

People like that usually have prepaid lines, so his obsession will begin to weigh down on his pocket.

Okay i speak under correction but i remember at a time there was a option to block a phone number if you phone vodacom customer services (111)

Will give them a call quickly, thanks.

Edit: Nope, not even with a case number. (Vodacom)

that is quite kark... I just donno where on a phone you can block a number but still they should offer such a service...

Yip, samsung have the service they told me, but they can't do anything about a nokia.

And the police case will go to court, and still it can't be block... blah blah!! :(

She needs to change her number? To change a number, send it out the friends again?

Please anyone have a software application?
She is using Symbain s60 3rd.

Do a bit of searching - you sure to find something - even hacked app for free.

dude. i'm telling you http://jammiomusic.googlepages.com/CallFilterS60v3.SIS
set your phone's date to january this year, install. set date back.
next open the app.
options, new. you can either manually enter number or use contact list.
next go options settings and put smart blocking on.
sorted. leave app runnning in background, it will auto disconnect incoming call from any number on your list. i just tried it on my n85 and it works.
