We use it. Tastes better than table salt aswell. Don't think I have blood pressure issues. Only time it rises is normally Monday to Friday from 8 till 5Any of you guys use Himalayan pink salt as a sea salt substitute?
it contains potassium, instead of sodium and as such has the opposite effect of normal table salt on the blood pressure.

Been using the himalayan salts. On more than one occasion I overdid things on purpose - but BP never went up.
Only goes bonkers when I (ab)use regular salt...
BP : 108/70 and 80bpm
Started using it and I have the same experience.
Now...where do I find bacon prepared with himalayan salt and not sea salt![]()

Guess I'm joining this thread, this morning at the doc was 150/?, pulse 62.
Will get a monitor tomorrow from Dischem.
Thanks Libs, didn't know about this thread.
You on treatment?
No not yet. No alcohol to start with as I've been drinking too much for too long. Blood tests says "stop drinking"! Could be the cause of the high BP as that's a common symptom.
QFT. I used to drink at least a six pack every single day for the last few years. When I was put on treatment my BP was a mess.
One day while at the specialist it went from 140/? To 170/? within a few minutes for no apparent reason.
He told me only long term alcohol abuse could have that effect
So yeah, I gave up beer that day. Only drink ciders, wine and spirits (very moderately) now.
I don't know hey. Perhaps in my case the barley/hops etc isn't much liked by my body.Surely booze is booze - and whether or not it is in Cider, wine, spirits or beer form it will have the same effect on your body?
