Mine's above average / "prehypertension" (hovers around the high 130's to mid 140's / 80-90 during the day.. early mornings / after gym it's "normal" - 120's/78-85, guess i'm just a stressed-eric), always had it slightly higher than it should be, I am quite healthy don't eat much junk food (even eating out I generally skip the fried/salty stuff) and avoid salt (I use a herb-salt).
My mother has the issue so I guess it's just hereditary. Dr said it's ok for now just need to stay healthy.
The only thing I have tried that made a noticeable difference is Procydin; didn't believe it until I tried it. R89 at the pharmacy for 30 I think and just take 2 a day, lowered my average BP by about 8 systolic and 5 on diastolic (I keep one of those digital wrist monitors in my car and usually check before work and sometimes during lunch / after work).
All it is is grape seed extract, lots of antioxidants - works for me, might work for some of you that have higher BP's.
