I'm on a four month mission to lose 20 kg. It will get done.
Hoping I can drop the meds then.
Always helps when you're motivated.
Dropping the meds though,
Not sure what your doc advised, but usually this a long-term if not for life process.

2 months ago my Doc (a mate of mine) insisted on testing my BP - 180/110. Dangerous!
This morning - 117/78 (66)
107/75 now to shake the caffeine and I'll be set
Maybe you don't need them anymore? Lost weight? Fitter?
Yay, no need for pills anymore![]()
For real?
Yep. Will make appointment with doctor sometime.
Be extreme cautious, please...
I will do so.
123/87
I only get exercise weekends when I go hiking. So shows you what a difference it can make. Saturday I did a 10 km 90 minute hike. BP was 108/76 that afternoon.
Still 123/87 is fine by me. Lost 3 kg the past week, another 17 kg to go. Pretty sure that will make a huge difference.
SO my chest pains came back over the last three days.......
Now I have just done my yearly medical and save for the fact that my sugar was a bit elevated and my blood pressure was up the one day then the next it was down......My ecg came back fine, no cancers etc...... just this blood sharp chest pain....
This morning, I skipped my daily 1.2km swim and went for a blood pressure check.....BP 139/66 and pulse at 67......
My doctor told me two weeks ago that there is nothing on the Xrays, ecg or blood tests that point to heart issues....
I have another appointment with him tomorrow.....
Wondering if this is a muscle thing, as I burped earlier and the pain was sharp and short..... sometimes if I move my are at a certain angle it's back for a split second........
Speaking to my pharmacist and my connection down at the lab.... does not appear to be a heart issue and they reckon my BP looked quite healthy....
Other than the sharp pains that come and go.... I feel as strong as an ox....I even went for a 6km walk through the desert with HO on Saturday afternoon.....
WOnder what my Doc will say tomorrow....

did mine the other day and was 180 over 80, which I questioned as I don't suffer from bp, she took it again 4min later and was 140 over 80.
what caused the spike?
