Blood Pressure...

I'm also struggling with high blood pressure it's a family disease from my mother's side. I discovered at work that I have high blood pressure so the doctor put me on medication I'm on lisinopril (20 mg) and Ridag (5mg) the are not helping for the 6 months my blood pressure, has been around 151/92 pulse 85. Yesterday I went to refill it was 152/97 can't remember what the pulse said. They said I'm must come check it again today after work.

So I went to a public clinic I have a nurse friend I explained my situation she gave me amlodipine to take with ridag& lisinopril. So I think I will go check it tomorrow let me give it a day. I started drinking Luke warm water with Cayenne pepper and garlic. Now I can start to feel my blood moving through my veins I hope it's a good sign.

Perhaps the medication isn't right?
I tried 3 types before settling with Tareg
The Others a made me feel shocking
Really bad.
But your BP is still too high
Do you have anxiety ?

Yeah I have anxiety especially when I enter the doctor's office and I see blood pressure machine. I talked to the doctor but he just laughed at me he said my heart is beating normal.

White coat syndrome is a real thing.

I have headache I don't know if it's the new pill me. I want to go to the clinic to test.

Sigh may as well join this thread.
Bp gets very high, was around 200/120 before meds, now if I forget it goes to around 160/110 and if I remember to take daily then around 133/90.
I find exforge works brilliantly in reducing my my bp (I have the 3 in one type)- the 10mg was too strong for me, I would feel dizzy if bp dropped too much so changed to the 5mg.
Anyhow due for a repeat soon, I better lose some weight or doc will *** all over me, as I gained recently, being healthy is tedious:(

Anyhow yeah diet and exercise required, pfft:(

Okay I went to check it honestly this time around I was not nervous first reading it was 147/98 pulse second reading it 163/103 didn't check the pulse. I started to take Luke warm water with cayanne& garlic. I think if my readings are too high I'll ask the doctor to change my pills clearly they not helping.

Is it possible I can be one of those with uncontrollable high blood pressure
Doubt it. You just have to try different types until you find one that works for you.

Lisinopril gave me a dry cough for example.

Are you overweight? Do you eat a lot of starchy carbs - bread, rice, pasta, potatoes, "cardboard" cereals, etc?

Lol I weigh 64kg I stay alone so most of them time it's take aways but I do cook so yeah I eat lot of starchy. I'm also going to try to cut down spices.
