I've hit 1100km on a single trip in my 320D (57litre tank) and thats at national speed limits (120km/h), not crawling around at 80km' (CPT - East London)
On the open road when using cruise control, especially if you use ECO PRO vs COMFORT the difference is pretty much zero. (you'll barely gain back a handful of Km's, at least that was my experience)
Also the climate control doesn't work as effectively when using ECO PRO......if it's a hot day....you'll not be kept cool
Standard comfort mode for open road cruising is best I reckon.
Speaking of ECO PRO...how many km's do you gain back on the trip computer?
I used ECO PRO for a month for every trip I made and I got less than 10km back in range. It doesn't seem worth it.

I want to see if I can get to 1000km at-least
Might have to do more driving in eco-pro mode lol
