BMW M3

I would get the newer model. Drive it from 0km (or delivery km that is) Then you know you took care of it. Great car btw :)

I got one in JHB for R 910 000-00. I think thats the one to go for.
 
go for the new one. The used one might have low mileage ... but its a M3, most of the kilometers are hard earned ones. Nobody buys a M3 and drives sensible
 
Wow, they hold their value well! Go new if it will be kept for 4+ years. Go second hand if not keeping for more than 2 years. The difference in price isn't so much. A 3 year old M3 only have <2 years motorplan left and then you either need to extend, or drive without one.

If you can afford the 2014 model, buy it. Make no mistake that all M3's have been burned hard. I'd rather buy a brand new one, if it's my dream car, and do frequent oil changes and really baby it. If you need to save money, I guess the second hand one is perfectly fine. Just have Mobile Image do a 3-stage detail inside and out.

I would definitely go for the 2014 model. Best car ever IMO. I had a 2003 and 2004 M3 pimped to the max. I never had a car coming even close to this, and I don't have the money anymore either ;(
