Hi Guys
I am an advanced android user.
Ok I will begin by saying I have a problem with my phone.
Before I get to that I bet there is very few people which have heard of this phone.
It is called a Boost Mobile Moova Shuffle.
I bought it in a store and after extensive research have found the manufacturer to be a company in South Africa called The Prepaid Company associated with Blue Telecoms.
There is no information on the phone anywhere online except like three posts by the same person who wishes to flash his phone with a a new rom as he seems to have a problem similar to mine.
I write this post in detail like this as the next person who googles this phone and has a problem will find this post (hopefully we solve the problem)
This is my problem...
The phone cannot boot. It shows the start screen image and after a few seconds goes into a boot loop.
If I hold down Volume Up and Power I get to a screen with three options.
They say
Recovery Mode
Fastboot Mode
Normal Boot
In order to select I choose with Volume Up and I select with Volume Down.
Normal boot obviously doesnt work.
Fastboot just gets selected and then attempts to access using fastboot from pc and adb have no feedback.
If I try to get a status from the device nothing is returned.
SO I go into recovery mode and then theres android man lying on his back with no command.
I figured if I hold Power down and then press the volume up I land up In the recovery mode.
Which says
Android system recovery <LMY47I> release keys
Volume up/down to move hi enter Power key to select
Options are
Reboot system now
apply update from ADB
apply update from sdcard
apply update from cache
wipe data/factory reset
Reboot system now
Boot loop
apply update from ADB
Don't have a rom
Anywhere I can get a ROM????
The manufacturer hasnt responded and they have no support website etc. They just sell it. yet its theres so I dont know.
apply update from sdcard
There is no file that can be update.
Actually there is only the following files
@btmtk/
acdapi/
adb/
aee_exp/
None of which have files that can be updated
Cache has
backuop/
lost+found/
recovery/
Theres nothing in anything there.
Wipe data/factory reset does absolutely nothing.
See on the box it said it has a 4GB memory. When I bought it it didn't.
It just has a dual sim and memory card slot.
So it was like R500 and I really needed a phone so I took it.
Then last week I bought a 8gb memory card and put it in.
I figured if it doesnt work I will just return it for a 4gb.
Unfortunately I put the card in and it didnt boot and went into boot loop.
So I took the card out and it carried on doing the same thing.
Heres the only places I can find google links on it.
