Boxing

Boxing needs something, they promote the wrong things and protect so many fighters
yup... like i said, props to Saudi for doing these fights. We would never see them otherwise. Or wait until a fighters contract with a promoter ends or goes south. And by that time they are either over the hill, or a prima donna chasing pay days

David Benevidez exposed against and old Gvyozdic - he should go back down a weight class and continue to weight bully - not as good as advertised

Also Tank Davis exposed against Martin who was clearly weight drained... nice finish tho, he looked in good shape.. was fast and hit hard.. but lets be real... cherry pick of note.

As much as I want Paul to get a hiding I’ve lost respect for Tyson on this one too. Money has always been his Achilles heel thanks to Don King.
i dont think that this fight will ever happen...

could have just been a tactic to build hype for jake and mike getting some kickbacks on the side...

either way, IF the "fight" does ever happen, it wont be what you expect it to be. Its a 50 odd year old vs a juiced up whatever you wanna call him.

will most likely be an exhibition, limited head shots, no KOs etc.

move along, ****all to see here

Maybe its the money, maybe its just the thrill and excitement he is craving. Regardless, its a stupid fight, although its lose / lose for Paul, I dont think he will ever see it that way.
Calling out Pereira is idiotic. The guy wont get out of the ufc contract, and even if he does, its the same story, he isnt a boxer. MMA fighters are not boxers, they can be good strikers, but it is very different and any current MMA fighter would be silly to go box someone, even if it is paul.

We all want him to fight a current boxer in his weight class, he has done this once, he lost, and fury is not particularly good. I think that says enough

This... fury hugged him for the whole fight and got a decision.

hes not going anywhere near a "real" boxer

This was quality, hard to say if he would have felt the ref was fair if he had lost later, but everything he says here, and have to take it at face value, is honest and true.

Tyson is full of it saying it was easy. When I was younger and playing competitive sport, I would sometimes do this thing, where I would make it look like I was messing around, that I was joking and all that. Sometimes, it was me finding an excuse, if i didnt put 100% and kind of gave the impression I was messing around, if i lost, I could tell myself and others, well, I was messing around. Its a cheap out, it disrespects your opponent, it cheapens yourself.

I do think Fury got really bad corner advice, there was certainly a point in the fight where it turned and I felt like he had a chance to possibly win it, but Usyk always comes back, Fury didnt capitalize, and he honestly cannot believe it was an easy fight, or he deserved the win.

I hope he comes out serious and gives it everything and whatever the result, there are no excuses left on the table

My word, Aj can't stop making mistakes.
How he lets DDD get close, his jab failing him constantly, poor head movement.
Somehow made his way through, and the moment he gets a chance, instead of stepping back and fighting in even ground, rushes in like an amateur.

Two more rounds and DDD gasses..
Neither looked great, ddd has power, aj has heart, neither look like world class boxers.

Bring on bivol and beterbiev, bivol is my guy

DDD is the epitome of a "dumb boxer" just march forward thru the front door and throw... and he gave AJ such a hard time.

ironically, you would think that him just coming at AJ with his chin in the air would be a good thing for AJ... but that fear since the ruiz fight is still there

agree AJ should retire

How dumb did he look telling the crowd that hes got this, only to get knoocked the F out moments later.

It was a poor performance, AJ wanted to build into it, but he was terrible at distance control, again, his jab was no where, his hands were no where.
I can understand everything after that first bomb on his chin, it was flush and very hard and it is incredibly difficult to function once something like that happens, especially at heavy weight from a hitter like DDD.
But he should have been sharp from the beginning

On a side note, good grief DDD is not the brightest crayon, those interviews are painful to watch
