Ya this excuse is getting old now, why did we have clean drinking water? Well because the government made sure it happened. Why is the water at the moment in a state of alarm? Well because the government is stealing, plundering and not making sure it is kept clean.

So no we do not take it for granted, it is something that we have always had and it is something that soon we will not have because of our current government. What is with all these anc sympathizers, sure right the wrongs of apartheid but that does not mean blaming all the shyte they do wrong on the past. The past is in the past, we are in the present and in the present our government is running the countries infrastructure into the ground. Maybe the past was way to civilized and maybe in the past SA's had too many nice things, well that is going to change :D

Well I do now and yet I never had such during the previous regime.

I think the problem is then only some had soon nobody will.
I wonder why they do not do something? Strange, Is it because we still have and have to have a "black out" before they will start blaming someone and then charge us for it.

The truth is engineering services are deteriorating in (especially) the small municipalities where maintenance has all but ceased while comrades buy 4x4s and line their pockets & appoint incompetent cronies to high positions such as CFO & MMs... The level of corruption is just too high. It's like that guy says in Oz about Adebisi... "everyone steals, but he steals too much".

Your logic astounds me. So when the water becomes dirty and you cannot drink you will say o well atleast i got water from the tap.

No your logic astounds me. The previous gvt made sure there was clean drinking water - is an epic FAIL in my opinion because half the population didn't get any.
How can you even compare the two?

I am not comparing anything, i am just pointing out that is seems acceptable for OUR drinking water to be in such trouble, now it seems the whites are moaning and the blacks are saying o well atleast we got some tap water.

Thousands of potholes in our roads well atleast we can travel in our cars on the roads. FFS the past is over, start thinking about the GOD damn future for ALL SA's and stop saying o well atleast we have this and atleast we have that now. Nobody will have anything with that kuk attitude one day.

So you are happy with our drinking water becoming worse and worse every year? Will you also say when you cannot drink it anymore that atleast we have tap water. Will you ever get over the past and start thinking about the future or will everything the ANC fuqs up be the past's fault?

SA's drinking water in the major cities is safe. Rand Water for instance is still rated as top 5 in the world, and they're stil investing millions in infrustructure - the Western Cape included. so saying the entire system is collapsing is BS. Smaller municipalities in the rural areas are suffering.
