Great campaign, always good to be reminded where you should shop more often. Had some lovely smoked bacon the other day from woollies.

They have stood by their stance on continually supporting Israel.
Very arrogantly they stand with Israel.
Ep27 I agree with you on the humanitarian stance hence my posts. I am saying that it should be a humanitarian issue but unfortunately because of the approach of the Ummah we are making it seem as if it is a Muslim issue. If not for anything else then for the mere fact that we do not protest and boycott to this extent for any other cause but Palestine. I am 1000% sure if we would also support other causes including the plight of other religions suffering we would have drones of people supporting us right now.
I am behind you the entire Muslim community 100% all I am saying is we might be going about it the wrong way. Allah knows best, hopefully the violence from every side will stop soon.
It's still early here... what's the time where you are?

With a population of 1.8 million people living just 60 kilometers from Tel Aviv, the Gaza Strip has always been an important part of the Israeli economy, even after the blockade Jerusalem imposed in 2007 after Hamas seized power in Gaza. According to the Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics, the value of Israeli goods sold in the Strip the year before stood at $570 million.
But Israeli officials don't know the precise numbers because goods sent to Gaza are not considered exports. Still, the army says some 45,000 tons of goods were arriving there weekly this time a year ago. Sources say that in recent years 400,000 tons of seeds and 60,000 tons of fruit and vegetables have made it into Gaza annually, as well as more than 40,000 containers of clothing, canned food and medicine.
It is difficult for certain people to look at the bigger picture, even more so when somewhere extremely dear to them is being destroyed while they can only look on and stand helpless.Fury, you need to realise how people like Ep27 are damaging your cause.

The issue I am raising with my Muslim brothers and sisters is that people have a natural instinct to purposefully stand against a cause, due to the fact that you are choosing a method/action which seems to be very one sided. If we had perhaps started off by saying that we stand against oppression, murder etc. from all sides whether Muslim or non Muslim I'm sure 9 out of 10 people would be standing with us. If we had perhaps said let's have a unified gathering from the entire community, Muslims, Jews, Christians etc. and call for peace we might have had a more effective voice. Harping on and on about how bad Israel is is only going to alienate you from everyone else.
The unfortunate part is that the people I know who might agree with me are usually the ones not voicing out on public forums such as this, and that is why the problem of disunity exists.
I am not standing against fellow Muslims, I am with them only asking them to choose an approach better suited to the environment we live in. I have seen Muslims stating that Islam is a complete religion suited to all times and places, yet we show the complete opposite by displaying a rigidness that I cannot fathome.
Lol just as much stress trying to decide which secular opinion is the correct one.You should consider atheism, less stressful.

Nah, its easy... your opinion is the correct one until evidence is given to show its incorrect one![]()
What is ironic you have a few lunatics boycotting stores such as Woolies for selling a minute % of Israeli goods and yet the Palestinians in Gaza are the largest consumers of Israeli goods outside of Israel.
Something like 20% of Israeli fresh produce ends up in Gaza

Boycott Woolies, just means more for Israel to sell to Gaza.
