It is selective and WW seem to be suffering the brunt of it.
PnP, massmart and the likes have not been forgotten. Bit can easily be substituted.

Internationally Fresh produce from Israel is being boycotted. Tesco, wholesalers in Ireland and even selfridges are going through with the boycott, aided by the British quest of "buying British"

Not everything is from Israel, conscious buying becomes an art.

I have yes. I think it was Desmond tutu that said of you take no side, you support the oppressors. WW claim to take no side, but it's obvious of who they stand with.

I will not go into full detail as I fear I might end up posting links for every word I use.
I will say though, the BDS movement is being supported on the ground. It's massive. It's global. It's working.

I do sense a disconnect from this forum and "reality" for lack of a better word.
Remember the media is not covering it all, nothing actually regarding the boycott.

There was a huge pro Palestine flash mob at Sandton square this past Saturday night.
Depending on your news sources you may of heard of it.

WW are not suffering anything, like I said, I actually expect their revenue to increase thanks to your boycott.

So you fully admit, you're only going after WW at this point in time, so you are selectively targeting a company which is apolitical based on "facts" that you are fabricating?

This is the first I am hearing of an international boycott on fresh produce from Israel, and doesn't seem to bourne out by media online, Sainsburys told the protestor to fek off basically, ASDA is still stocking Israeli products. Again it seems as if you are fabricating "facts" to support your pointless boycott.

If you wish to stop supporting Israeli products then you have bigger issues than simply fresh produce.

Yes many DA capetownians felt a bit of political influence from the ANC was coming out.
As I said, they do stand behind and support the boycott, even though talk might be cheap in some ears.

It's the setiment behind it. WW has a huge fan club, the pinch will be small but it will be felt.

Complete BS in regards to take no sides, support the oppressor. That is the same BS as "If you aren't with me you're against me" crap.
The only disconnect that exists is between you and reality in my opinion.

The Palestine event in Sandton square was not a flash mob in the slightest, it was a gathering of people while a random person shouted stuff at them and they responded with "Allahu Akbar"

Almost 2000 died in the past month, 10000 injured severely.
Over 1000 died in 2012 offensive.

Is that not dwindling?

But it's because you don't understand the backing, it's not a Muslim boycott.

I've yet to find a recording of the speakers at the protest. I will search for it. None of the mainstream media showed the live proceedings.

But there is backing from all creeds of people. There are also some Muslims who undoubtedly can't seem to live without woolworths, the poor souls.

Ep27 I agree with you on the humanitarian stance hence my posts. I am saying that it should be a humanitarian issue but unfortunately because of the approach of the Ummah we are making it seem as if it is a Muslim issue. If not for anything else then for the mere fact that we do not protest and boycott to this extent for any other cause but Palestine. I am 1000% sure if we would also support other causes including the plight of other religions suffering we would have drones of people supporting us right now.

I am behind you the entire Muslim community 100% all I am saying is we might be going about it the wrong way. Allah knows best, hopefully the violence from every side will stop soon.

Yes, with the origin of the other 99,9% of their suppliers. They abide by the SA government requirement to indicate the country of origin.

What do you want them to do?
