I'm very interested to find out how effective the flyer distribution will be. I'm planning something similar in the Lynnwood area for the Lynnwood Fibre Initiative (www.lynnwoodfibre.com).

Perhaps you guys should RFP so that there is competition?
Try to get anything organised in this town. People can't be arsed to submit a simple form. Getting the thousand or so signups required for a RFP is going to be next to impossible with no backing behind it. Plus 123net by far offers the best value proposition. If we go with paid internet there won't be enough interest to justify the rollout.

One thing I know, leaving a hundred flyers at Pizza Perfect has absolutely no effect. People didn't even notice them while I was sitting there. If anyone from around here wants to go and get them (if they haven't thrown them away yet) to hand out in the area you're welcome.

I would also overlook a flyer when my brain is on pizza! :p

There are services that ask R150 to R250 per 1000 flyers for delivery. I'm considering using one of those. I just hope it makes it from the mailbox into the home.

Maybe drop some off at the booms in Dalpark. Ask the guard to give to everyone?

Nah people just drive off when it's open. Unless he stall them in which case I think they will be too pee'ed off and just throw it away. If everything goes right I will be dropping them off in the surrounding blocks tomorrow. Murphy's law, just when I have to drop off pamphlets it starts raining after being dry for months.

Not necessarily the best value. Go see DFA, Frogfoot, even Telkom.
