I don't think it's illegal per se. Frowned upon perhaps.

I recall a high school teacher of mine packing while teaching. Concealed carry of course but just knowing he was armed was strange.

Wait. Are we arguing for the same side here? Are you for or against gun control? Otherwise I don't understand what your question has to do with anything. Same argument. If gun control measures were implemented to a larger degree, this wouldn't have stopped this from happening, as the criminals would've obtained their boomsticks anyway.

I'm not arguing anything - I'm saying that people who have a first reaction of "don't blame the guns" after a shooting are idiots.... poor kids are still being murdered, the bullets are still flying.


Don't worry - its still perfectly legal for you to take your gun into a school and fire at anyone getting in the way of your liberties.
 
Schools are gun free zones already. Yes, it is illegal to bring a firearm into a school premises

Actually not uncommon. Lots of schools still accept cash for fees. Probably one of the last holdouts of loose cash in "business".

Illegal or not allowed by the school? If a person has a permit to carry, they are legally allowed to however the location/business may choose to deny them entry.

I just like to go to schools and watch the kids running around, shouting. Of course, they don't realise that I'm shooting with blanks.
