It was a rough road. At the end, no mushrooms or other substances were taken.
Now its just a matter of being dedicated to the real me. Not falling back into old habits.

I identified numerous short comings, habitual habits and bad programming that has to be removed to be the person i want to be.
Maybe it's just semantics, but I think the sense that something needs to be removed in order to get where you're going means you'll feel forever stuck because you'll never feel quite satisfied that the thing you want removed is entirely gone.

Once you see clearly who & what you are, you get to choose a different way of being: A habit isn't eradicated at the outset from a distance, its dissolving comes from seeing it arise in the moment and choosing there to respond differently. That choice to see clearly & choose is what makes you the person you want to be.

True words. In fact employed on one of the burdens. Accept, and become indifferent as opposed to it being consuming. Its still there, but not a thing anymore.

You know what you should do?

Be more ambiguous, and then give senseless updates.

Oh, nevermind.

Getting laid releases endorphins. Do it. Often. Doesn't have to be with your wife. Do it.
