Bricked Nokia N73 ME

Does anyone know where in JHB I can get a bricked N73 fixed. Phone got bricked during Nokia Software Update and does not power on anymore?

U take it to your service provider such as Vodacom/MTN or whatever u use, and they send it in for repairs for free, thats if its still within its warantee period.
If not,
take it to any cellular shop

if you're not under warranty and you've got the patience and inclination, search google for reflashing your dead phone with a piece of software called JAF. It's usually dongle protected so you'll need the cracked version of course. There's also numerous tutorials on how to flash it alive again - once you've got all the software it's a piece of cake if you're not to technical stuff like this. under warranty repair is your best bet though.

here is the thing: I got the N73 last year and on the box it still says 24 months. However I then went and used a new N95. Will I be able to just hand the N73 in at MTN and they have to honor the warranty?

Shouldn't be a problem. If it's been lying in a drawer somewhere unused, the warranty is still valid if it's within the 24 month period.
