Hi Guys

Is putting a router into DMZ an alternate to bridge mode ? . We cannot have access to our ISPs router and they will not set it into bridge mode and allow us to use our router, but they willing to put it into DMZ.

Thanks
Kitty

With DMZ you are NATed, the only difference. It means, you will receive a private IP address. It will be not the same as any remote Website will see you. It doesn't mean that in bridge mode you will always receive public IP address, but most frequent. It is what these ISP guys try to say: no public IP address.
