I have a netbook with XP SP2 using my iPhone via pdanet to connect to the internet. All was working fine until today. I cannot connect to facebook, FNB or Gmail i keep getting connection timed out.

this happened earlier this year and I reset my nebook to factory setting BUT this is not a option this time around.

I tried FIREFOX IE8 & GOOGLE CHROME still no joy.

I have run a DISKCLEAN DELETED my browsing history still no joy

anyadvice would be appreciated fanx :D

If using it via USB, remove the pdanet desktop app and reinstall it.

I thought it might be that but I am now connected via WiFi but still having the same problem. I will uninstall the desktop app and see what happens. Thanks

It cannot be this because I can access other international sites but when I try to connect to Facebook and Gmail it times out. It allows me to get to the logon page but after that I get a timed out error.
International wasn't down completely, but it was severely affected. I had the same issue as you on an ADSL line.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled pdanet on the iPhone still I cannot connect to the sites. I tried validating my Windows XP but I cannot even do that soemthing tells me it might be pdanet, I have changed everything else. I am using the free version of pdanet does that make a difference?
