So when i try to browse the web the internet is sometimes almost slower than my 4mbps ADSL connection while when doing a speedtest it's 3ms 97.40mbps down and 50mbps up. I know this also because when browsing Facebook for example images take a long time to clear up and load. Even youtube recently started to buffer? -_- Why Telkom, why?
And i am not even using a Uncapped option i still have 350gb of data left. Maybe it's the Telkom account? Should i try Axxess etc.

That was a in browser speedtest of downloading a 1mb file, it took rather long

See my signature below for my speedtest.

I'm also on Telkom FTTH, and have found my browsing in the last couple of weeks to have slowed down. I have not timed it to be able to quantify the slowdown, it is more what I have been perceiving and experiencing. However, speedtests almost always show full speed.

I wish I could just get my ADSL back. I now have fibre that's capped, my router needs to be restarted a couple of times a day, streaming videos no better than it use to be. In one word - Telkom fibre sucks, if you do not have it yet, don't bother.

We heard you the first time

Very poor advice to be dishing out.Just because you're having problems doesn't mean everyone else is too.

I will be getting Telkom FTTH.Can't wait actually!

I've been having this issue since yesterday. Did numerous restarts of ONT and AP, requested connection resets on axxess client portal. These steps have been unsuccessful.

Browsing, whether in chrome or on ios apps is terrible, facebook videos is playing 1 sec, buffering for 2, repeatedly. Youtube not even trying.

Yet, as OP states speedtest is great, I get 21ms latency, 9.78mbps (10mb fiber), and to my surprise for the first time ever, a 4.8mbps upload (upload was always around 2, which coincided with the 25% upload ratio.

Hopefully whatever is the issue will sort itself out. Haven't had any issues to date.

I suggest you contact support on this
But on another thread someone mentioned there is a QOS setting that needs to be checked on the device it might need to be ticked or unticked not sure

It works excellent for the first week then dies off slowly, and this is coming from 100mbps
Look at my speedtest on my phone right now compared to the first time:

For some reason the same happens here on iOS with my iPhone 6s plus, at the exact same point my iPhone gets 45mbps+ while my S7 Edge on Android gets 90mbps+

I've also tried multiple routers. The Telkom Huawei one that comes with the installation as well as my own Zyxel SGB3300-N so it may be Telkoms side unless both modems are just gone

Wow, that is super weird! Although, i did my speedtest from my iphone and it gave me top end speeds. It was the physical browsing, streaming, app loading that went bust.

Everything seems a lot better on my side this morning though, so hopefully it fixed itself overnight
