Don't really get the twitter thing, I know..
But are those Helen and presidentSA tags to who it was send?
Looks like the ZimEye's propaganda was for it to go viral. What better time and place to make it go Viral?

Yes, those are their Twitter handles.
This ZimEye website seems to be anti the Zim government, so I wouldn't be surprised if he had ulterior motives.
Heck I wouldn't even be surprised if this actually happened in Zim and not in South Africa.
Anyway, this is one of my early sources as the video on his website is embedded and not linked to the Vimeo or LiveLeak uploads.

Could that be the reason why I haven't seen a single person being able translate what has been said in the video?

Could very well be. Try to find some Shona or Ndebele speakers.

Other than that ANC T-shirt, can anybody else see any identifying South African features or objects?

It's times like these that I wish I had that app that CSI uses to enhance video footage using keyboard commands.

The skirt/kanga things some of the women are wearing don't look like any I have seen here. It's too bad the car that pulls up doesn't appear to have plates on either.

And yes those ANC shirts are from previous elections not these ones. The current ones have those banner things same as their pole adverts.
 
Could they be sock puppets? Mlambo is a South African name - nothing says he can't live in the UK or even be from another African country like one of our neighbours who have shared last names with locals.

Ja, It was uploaded to his website sometime before lunch yesterday, so it is definitely one of the first sources.
Now let's see what we can find on Mr. Sydney Mlambo...

That's an indirect part of my job. I've had to stand in court explaining how we've 'enhanced' or 'altered' footage we had worked on for the prosecution.

It's amazing how senior detectives expect CSI results from the often crummy footage they provide us.

Yeah it's part wondering how they would get such details out of 480p with a poor CMOS or worse, analogue video camera source (based on the the time when the original series was released) but more than that, how to believe it would be more efficient to select a random region out of an image without the use of a pointer device.

Uploaded the audio as webm, you can do "save as" in browser. Or it'll just play directly.

*case is the whole audio clip.

*case0 sounds like "amandla" , "samandla"? -> 5 secs

*case1 is where that woman points at the victim and says something that sounds like an accusation. Take note near the end, where the audio is clear (you should be able to get the language from this clip). Note this is also the woman who took part. -> 5 secs

Also take note of 1:43. Almost sounds like Afrikaans.
That's about how much I can do.

Good find! I am tempted to write to Mr. Mlambo and ask him where he actually go the video from, but I actually do not expect an honest answer. :(

Anybody else wanna try and write to him?
